Police charge driver after the plates didn’t match the vehicle they were on

A Parry Sound man has been charged after being seen driving when he wasn’t supposed to.  West Parry Sound OPP saw a vehicle pulling out of a Miller Street parking lot Wednesday night with licence plates that didn’t match the description of the vehicle.  The officer pulled over the vehicle and an investigation found the driver was under suspension and didn’t have proper insurance.  The 38-year-old man was arrested and charged with driving under suspension, unauthorized licence plate, and failure to provide an insurance card.  The vehicle was towed and impounded for a week while the driver will face his charges in a Parry Sound court next month.
