The quest for a referendum on fluoride in Parry Sound and McDougall begins today. Parry Sounders for Progressive Water Management will begin going door-to-door today with a petition to have fluoride removed from the municipal water supply. The group wants residents to have their say in whether fluoride stays in the drinking water or not through a referendum. For that to happen, a petition with 10 percent of eligible voters for each municipality would have to be submitted to the provincial Chief Electoral Officer.
