A woman has suffered serious injuries after a crash on Highway 400. Yesterday afternoon around 4:00pm, West Parry Sound OPP says a northbound vehicle blew a tire and crashed into the guardrail and ended up straddling both lanes. The 34-year-old driver was taken to West Parry Sound Health Centre with life-threatening injuries. A female passenger was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries and later released. Police are continuing their investigation. The highway was closed for more than two hours and has since been reopened.
