The Municipality of Whitestone is waiting before moving forward with discussions about a community police force. At yesterday’s meeting, Seguin council received a letter from Whitestone stating they are going to wait to talk with the consultant until after the Township of McKellar meets with them and make a decision. McKellar is planning to meet with the consultant soon. Meanwhile, the Township of Carling told Seguin they would be making a decision on being a part of the community police talks in the fall, but haven’t responded with their answer yet.
