The investigation into a fatal head-on car crash on Highway 69 Sunday is ongoing.
According to police, at about 7 PM, a southbound car crossed the lane and hit a northbound car some 70 kilometers north of Parry Sound near Station Road. Listeners reported both directions of the highway were temporarily closed Sunday night as a result of the collision.
The OPP says the driver of the southbound vehicle was fatally injured and the three occupants of the other vehicle were sent to a nearby hospital. Police are not releasing the name of the deceased at this time. More information will be released as the investigation continues.
