The last full day of summer is likely to be especially windy in Parry Sound.
Environment Canada is releasing a wind warning for the district, as gusts are expected to get as high as 90 km per hour. The wind will likely start to strengthen around 9:00am before gusting to it’s strongest by 1:00pm. Severe thunderstorms are also expected to roll into the district over the afternoon.
