The town of Parry Sound is holding a ceremony for the Canada 150 tulip garden.
The garden was planted last year on the corner of Bowes St. and Great North Rd by a team of volunteers. Now that the tulips are in bloom, the town wants to recognize and celebrate the project.
The event will be held this Saturday starting at 1:45 pm. Mayor Jamie McGarveydi, and members of the Parry Sound Horticultural Society will be on hand to say a few words.
