The Children Aid Society and CUPE representatives resumed negotiations yesterday.
It was the first time they met since talks broke down in late December.
Union negotiators left the meeting saying there were productive discussions, but were just scratching the surface.
The Children’s Aid Society said they look forward to a negotiated resolution.
CAS workers have been locked out since December 23rd.
