High school students have been recognized for their helping elementary students learn about safety. Last night, Mayor Jamie McGarvey presented a number of students with certificates to acknowledge the importance of their work to teach pedestrian safety, fire prevention, stranger danger, and internet safety to the younger kids. Rebecca Gadoury explains what it felt like to help the younger students to understand about safety.

In October, the drama club at the high school went to the surrounding elementary schools with emergency services to show them a skit to demonstrate how to be safe.
