Parry Sound Public School has chosen a logo. Last year, students of Victory and William Beatty decided that the school’s mascot would be a wolf and this year, together under one roof, students worked with a local resident artist to come up with a logo. Principal Laurie Payne says over the past couple of weeks, Josh Steckley-Pawis helped students bring their ideas to life.
Payne says Tuesday night, community members and students voted between five possible logos.
She says she is pleased with the outcome of this project.
Students are now deciding on what colour combinations they want to have with the logo and a mascot is being designed and created by Parry Sound High School student Hailey Newton-Smith.
