The Parry Sound-Muskoka Liberal Association has chosen their federal candidate. On Saturday, almost 300 liberals from across the riding voted for Trisha Cowie. In an earlier interview Cowie said she was running for the candidacy because she feels there needs to be a change in the government and Justin Trudeau is their best chance for that change. Cowie will be running against current MP Tony Clement in the upcoming federal election.
