Ryerson township gets almost 300 thousand dollars for economic development. The FedNor funds will help Ryerson, in partnership with Armour and Burk’s Falls, hire an economic development officer for three years. The E-D-O will take on projects like developing a marketing plan to increase tourism in the area. Ryerson’s Reeve Glenn Miller says this will help stimulate business investment, expansion and attraction, and ultimately result in increased revenue and employment levels to the region.
