Extremely high winds have downed powerlines and trees across the Parry Sound district.
Hydro One is reporting outages throughout Carling, McDougall, Seguin and the surrounding communities impacting thousands of customers.
Crews have been dispatched and posted restoration times vary depending on location.
“We have mobilized crews from other parts of the province along with our contractors to assist with restoration efforts, however we anticipate additional outages will occur as high wind gusts and rain continue to move east, followed by heavy wet snow,” stated a release from Hydro One.
