With 3 straight wins starting last Wednesday the Parry Sound Islanders find themselves in knocking on the door of first place in the GMHL North standings. The Islanders scored victories over Orangeville, Almaguin and Meaford. It was a rough weekend for the Seguin Huskies as they dropped a 9-3 game to Meaford and 9-4 to Temiscaming. Besides running into the red hot Islanders Almaguin scored a victory over South Muskoka 6-4 but last night the Spartans dropped an 8-4 decision to the Bradford Rattlers.
