Winter has hit hard in Parry Sound and it’s not finished giving us a full blast just before Christmas.
Environment Canada is predicting we’ll see up to 30 centimetres fall in the region by Thursday morning.
Meteorologist Mitch Meredith says along with some heavy snowfall today, we may see another large dumping on the weekend.
Meredith says it’s important to keep bundled up today and tomorrow as we’re likely to see a significant dip in temperatures due to the windchill.
And he says we have a very good chance of having a white Christmas at least from all the accumulation of snow that will fall this week.
