A two month closure of the Cascade Street Bridge begins today. Starting today, the bridge will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic for the next two months beginning today for the reconstruction of the Cascade Street hydro power generation station. Road Closed signs will be set up at the corner of William Street and Cascade Street as well as at the intersection of River Street and Dufferin Street. Local traffic on River Street and Cascade Street will be able to access their driveways, but will not be able to cross the bridge.
