A dog is safe after falling through the ice in Kearney. Perry Township Fire and Emergency services along with the Kearney Fire Department were called to Perry Lake where an Australian Cattle Dog named Bella ventured about 40 feet from shore and fell through the ice. Crews say the dog had been in the water for close to 45 minutes before they managed to get the dog out of the water by using flotation suits. Bella is now recovering and a video of the rescue is below.
