A snowmobiler is lucky to be alive after falling through the ice in Sundridge. Almaguin Highlands OPP says early yesterday they responded to an incident where a man went through the ice while riding his sled on Lake Bernard. The 30-year-old from Woodbridge was approximately 1000 feet from shore and managed to pull himself out of the water and did not require medical assistance. Police are reminding everyone to check ice conditions with experienced users and to always carry emergency equipment.
