Police have arrested at 27-year-old Barrie man on a number of charges near Stirling Falls. Almaguin Highlands OPP says they received a traffic complaint about a driver on Highway 11 near Robins Road last week. Police stopped the vehicle and arrested the man for drinking and driving. While the man was in custody, he resisted arrest and assaulted the officer. He was charged with three counts of drinking and driving, failing to comply with probation and assaulting a police officer. He is expected to appear in court at the end of the month.
