Federal government evaluating options for Wasauksing Swing Bridge

Public Services and Procurement Canada is currently evaluating renewal options for the Wasauksing Swing Bridge and is seeking input from the community.

As part of the project’s engagement and consultation process, a short survey has been developed to help better understand the use of local waterways around Parry Sound Harbour and Parry Island. According to officials, the survey is intended to gather information about boating activity, including the number and size of vessels and vessel movements in local waterways.

The survey will be open until Sept. 30.
