Bimaajitoon search and rescue looking for volunteers

Bimaajitoon Search and Rescue is in need of volunteers.

Officials with the local volunteer search and rescue organization are looking for people willing to act as mock subjects in their annual large scale training exercise at Killbear Provincial Park.

Volunteers would act as a lost or missing person, an injured camper or bystander with information, assisting the search and rescue team with the drill.

According to officials, volunteers may be in place for an extended period of time until located.

The exercise will take place on Oct. 17 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For more details on how to participate, visit Bimaajitoon Search and Rescue on Facebook.
