Multi-vehicle collision closes Highway 141, knocks out power to Seguin Township

More than 1,800 Hydro One customers in Seguin Township, including Humphrey Public School, are without power following a three-vehicle collision which downed hydro lines early on Oct. 30.

Officials say the collision, which occurred shortly before 7 a.m., lead to the closure of Highway 141 between Lake Joseph Road and Sandy Plains Road.

At 9:30 a.m., one lane on Highway 141 re-opened for alternating traffic. This partial closure is expected to remain in place for several hours.

According to Hydro One’s outage map, the estimated time of restoration for impacted customers is 1 p.m.
