PSHS student Abby Campbell awarded Chamber of Commerce bursary

Local student Abby Campbell has been awarded a $500 bursary from the Parry Sound Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Future Business Leader Bursary is awarded to a student who shows leadership, community involvement, and a passion for pursuing a future in business.

According to Chamber officials, Campbell will be attending the University of Guelph this fall to study Commerce, with a co-op placement in real estate.

Officials say her ambition, determination, and commitment make her a deserving recipient of this year’s bursary.

“Supporting and encouraging the next generation of entrepreneurs, innovators, and business leaders is an important investment in the future of our region, and we are excited to see all that Abby will accomplish in the years ahead,” stated a Chamber social media post about the bursary.
