Latest Parry Sound visitor survey shows strong upward trend

Visitors to the Parry Sound Area are enjoying their experience, and returning.

According to the latest visitor survey conducted by the Parry Sound Area Chamber of Commerce, 95 per cent of visitors were satisfied with their visit to the region in 2025 – an increase of 16 per cent from 2024.

The vast majority of those visitors – 92 per cent – said they would recommend a trip to the region to family and friends, which is a nine per cent increase from 2024.

“Visitors are loving their experience – especially cleanliness, dining and overall atmosphere,” states a Chamber summary on the survey.

Of those who took the survey, 89 per cent were returning visitors and 36 per cent stayed in the area for longer than one week.

“Visitors are here, they’re happy, and they’re ready to spend – especially on memorable experiences,” continued the summary. “Businesses that focus on collaboration, convenience, and experience-drive offerings will be best positioned to win in 2026.”
