NNDSB, province to hold Town Hall regarding new Parry Sound super school

The Parry Sound community is set to get an update on the status of the ongoing construction of the new super school.

That’s according to Near North District School Board officials, who have announced that a Town Hall meeting will take place on Feb. 19 from 7 to 8 p.m.

Officials say Education Minister Paul Calandra, MPP Graydon Smith, and Near North Director of Education Jay MacJanet will all be in attendance.

According to officials, discussion will focus on the new school build, the province’s supervision of the Near North Board, and broader efforts to improve student achievement.

The exact format of the meeting isn’t known.
