61-home subdivision pitched to McDougall council

A draft plan for a 61-home subdivision off McDougall Road was pitched to council on June 18.

Officials say the project, named Granite Valley Subdivision, is situated in between McDougall Road, the Seguin River, and the Manitouwabing River.

According to officials, lots in the proposed subdivision would be between 2 and 4 and a half acres, there would be three commercial lots, and seven open space blocks for trails, parks and greenspace.

Public input on the proposed development is now being accepted.
