GoFundMe page launched to help with accessibility-renovations for retired Seguin resident

A Go Fund Me page for Seguin residents Marie and Paul Halloch went live a week ago in an effort to help them make their home accessible.

After a medical emergency left Paul permanently paralyzed from the waist down in January, he and Marie were faced with massive costs that come with mobility equipment and much-needed accessibility renovations.

After knowing of their situations, Paul and Marie’s golfing buddies pulled together the GoFundMe page to help the Hallochs during this dire time.

In addition to costs, there is also a desperate need for anyone with construction expertise, engineers, people with planning design experience, and anyone with construction contacts.

The GoFundMe Page explains that both Paul and Marie are on fixed pensions and do not qualify for much if any government assistance.

Paul is now in rehabilitation at Lyndhurst Rehabilitation but will likely be out of rehab long before renovations can be done.
