Islanders split weekend series, Huskies forced to forfeit

It’s no way to lose.  The Seguin Huskies were forced to forfeit yesterday’s game to the Sturgeon Falls Lumberjacks as power outages cause the ice surface unsafe to play on.  The Official statement from the club says despite the cancellation being weather related, GMHL rules say the game was a forfeit.  Meanwhile, the Parry Sound Islanders split their weekend, winning their home opener 10-4 Saturday night then falling to Temiscaming 3-1 last night.
