The fire danger rating in theĀ Britt area has been raised to extreme. Britt and Area Fire Department Captain, Dave Marlin says in an email because of the fire danger, the fireworks show in Britt will be postponed until August 11th. He adds that weekend in August is the 150th-anniversary celebration of Britt and ByngĀ Inlet. The rest of the West Parry Sound district is keeping their fire danger rating at high.
