A resident and business owner has started a petition against parking meters along the waterfront. The Town of Parry Sound is proposing to install meters on the existing parking spaces along Bay Street. Susan Poole has started an online petition to encourage people in Parry Sound and the surrounding areas to let Town Council know that people shouldn’t have to pay to visit our waterfront. The proposal will be discussed at the next council meeting on April 15th and a map of the plan is available on the town’s website under Current News.
