Close to a 1000 homes still without power in the Parry Sound area. Hydro One continues to try and restore power to customers across the Parry Sound area after a storm rolled through on Tuesday knocking out power to almost 6,000 homes. Crews were able to make progress las night and overnight leaving about 1000 homes left in the dark. The utility says most of the remaining customers will be restored by tonight while water access customers may be without power for a longer period of time.
