ETFO teacher and occasional teacher members will start strike action on Monday. That news has been sent to members by Union President Sam Hammond. The job action will reportedly start with the removal of administrative services, with teachers not conducting EQAO-related activities, preparing report card comments or attending staff or grade meetings once the strike action starts. The strike action will be province wide and will include members with Near North District School Board. We will bring you their representative’s comments as soon as we can. Across the Province, 73,000 full time and occasional teachers will be in a legal strike position come Monday. Early childhood educators, education support personnel and professional support personnel members won’t be part the job action.
