Northern showcase at The Royal includes five area businesses

Five area businesses are off to the Royal Winter Agricultural Fair.

Parry Sound’s Harbour Hot Sauce, Trestle Brewing Company and Golden Treasure Maple Syrup Products, Seguin’s Wave Fibre Mill and For the Bees Farm in Whitestone are exhibitors with the Northern Ontario Agri-Food Pavilion.

FedNor says the showcase gives dozens of Northern Ontario-based agri-food businesses the opportunity to promote their products, find new markets, and create new partnerships.

‘The Royal’ takes place Nov. 6-15 in Toronto.

Officials say over 300,000 people visit the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair each year, providing an international platform to exhibit, demonstrate, and sell products and services to a wide range of attendees.

FedNor is providing more than $830,000 to support the pavilion.

By supporting the Northern pavilion since 2001, FedNor says it has enabled small and medium-sized enterprises from Northern Ontario to expand and become better known by consumers, industry representatives, and potential investors.
