The Health Unit’s old location on Joseph Street will be closed to the public as of Sept. 28, to begin the move to its new location.
The local health unit’s new location will be at 90 Bowes Street, above the Shoppers Drug Mart, and will open its doors on Wednesday October 4.
Dr. Carol Zimbalatti, the region’s Medical Officer of Health says the Health Unit is committed to the ongoing delivery of exceptional public health services and support in Parry Sound.
“The relocation to 90 Bowes Street marks a significant step forward in achieving this goal. The new location allows us the space to expand our dental services and provides a more comfortable and contemporary environment for our valued clients,” she says.
Officials with the health unit say the decision to relocate stems from a dedicated effort to improve the overall public health experience for residents in the Parry Sound district.
