Two Toronto men are facing firearm charges after police responded to reports of gun shots on Georgian Bay.

West Parry Sound OPP says officers responded on Wednesday to the area of Gauge Island and Round Island in Archipelago Township, about 20 kilometers southwest of Parry Sound.

Police were told that a boater, while fishing, heard “firearm rounds shot very near to their personal location.”

According to police, officers were told the rounds originated from Round Island.
