Expect high water levels in the Muskoka River and Magnetawan River this week.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry says low-lying and flood-prone areas around both rivers may be impacted to various degrees over several days, after significant rainfall in the past week.
Officials say to exercise caution around these areas, as well as shorelines and forest access roads, and to keep a close eye on children and pets.
They add residents who have been affected by high water in the past should take actions to protect vulnerable property.
