Police say there is no safety concern to the public after a driver tried to flee the scene of a crash in McDougal early Tuesday.
West Parry Sound OPP say officers responded to a single vehicle collision at the intersection of Bell Lake and Hwy 124 around 8 AM.
Communications Officer with the local detachment, Joe Scali, says the driver then fled the scene.
Scali says the driver was apprehended following a foot chase, adding an investigation is currently underway.
