Toronto man charged after police investigation into historical sexual assault at local Ontario Camp of the Deaf

A 54-year-old Toronto man is facing charges after an OPP investigation into a historical sexual assault in Seguin Township.

OPP officials say in February of this year, officers began the investigation into the incident which they say occurred in 2003 at a local Ontario Camp of the Deaf.

Steve Burrows faces both a sexual assault and sexual exploitation charge and is scheduled to appear in Parry Sound court at a later date.

Police are requesting anyone who may have additional information or believes that they were a victim of a similar circumstance to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submit information online at: www.ontariocrimestoppers.ca
