OPP has confirmed the victim from the train collision on Wednesday was a resident of Parry Sound.
West Parry Sound OPP’s Media Officer Constable Joe Scali says the investigation continues into the collision that claimed the life of the 36-year-old man.
Scali says the investigation is expected to be completed by the end of Friday (April 28) but adds it could still be months before the autopsy results are out.

Roads have reopened in the area of Isabella and Cascade in Parry Sound following a fatal train collision earlier Wednesday.
Train traffic is also moving again but is moving very slowly so West Parry Sound OPP warn motorists to be ready for delays in the area.
West Parry Sound OPP’s Media Officer Constable Joe Scali confirmed there was a collision between a pedestrian and a train around 1:15 p.m. Wednesday. The victim was male and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Scali says the investigation continues with more information to be released as it becomes available.
