A boiling water advisory was issued over the weekend for residents of Nobel’s Parkway Avenue.
According to a release sent by the Municipality of McDougal, the Nobel water system experienced a Category 2 water main break in the early hours of Friday (April 7).
Officials say crews were on-site on Friday and completed culvert repairs, however the advisory remains in effect until lifted by the health unit, likely for the remainder of this week.
Residents on Parkway Avenue and Big Sound Road with municipal water are advised that water used for drinking and other purposes must be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute to render water safe for consumption.
