Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place Monday evening at a Parry Sound business.
The OPP’s West Parry Sound Detachment along with the Crime Unit, Emergency Response Unit, Canine Unit, and Forensic Identification Services are looking into the incident that took place around 6 PM in a business on Pine Drive.
Police say someone entered the business brandishing a knife and demanded merchandise and cash.
According to OPP the suspect then fled the scene. The local detachment says no business name or suspect description can be confirmed at this time as this is an active investigation. However, officials did confirm that no persons were injured during this event.
