Over 25% of NBPS adults have received first COVID-19 vaccine, one new case added Thursday

The local health unit reported one new case of COVID-19 from Parry Sound today(Thursday) pushing the district to five active cases.

In Nipissing, one case and two recoveries were added bringing that district down to 16 active cases.

This morning, the health unit confirmed that more than a quarter of adults in the North Bay Parry Sound District have now received at least one dose of a vaccine. 

The health unit administered 949 doses and did a little over 140 tests for COVID-19 over the last day.
