The local Health Unit reported no new recoveries or cases of COVID-19 in the North Bay Parry Sound District on Friday.
For Parry Sound District, that marks day four of no active cases of COVID-19 and in Nipissing District, three cases remain active.
According to the health unit’s latest reports, the preliminary positive result for a variant reported Thursday was confirmed to be the B.1.351 Variant originating from South Africa.
