The health unit reported one more person recovered from COVID-19 from Parry Sound Monday afternoon bringing the district’s active case count down to one.
In Nipissing, no new recoveries or new cases were added keeping that district at four active cases of the virus.
As of Monday afternoon, five people from Parry Sound have tested positive for a variant of concern, three people with preliminary results and two lab-confirmed to have the B.1.1.7 variant originating from the United Kingdom.
The health unit did just over 1,200 tests for COVID-19 over the weekend.
