Parry Sound-Muskoka MPP Norm Miller says he welcomes the news of the local health unit’s transition into the RED-Control level of Ontario’s framework.
In a statement released Friday afternoon, Miller said “This news combined with the news about the accelerated vaccine rollout makes this a very good day in the history of the COVID pandemic,”
He said he knows that restaurants and gyms were hoping for fewer restrictions but this is a step in the right direction.
Miller asks business owners to be patient and to continue to follow the public health measures, assuring them that he will continue to advocate for the area to be opened further.
