Redecking work on the Wasauksing Bridge will cause night closures starting Monday till the end of March.
Officials say emergency repairs are needed for the bridge’s deck because of significant wear.
The primary contractor for the work will be the Wasauksing First Nation working with subcontractor Timmerman Wood Works.
The bridge will be closed Monday to Wednesday, March 31st from midnight to six AM, opening for 15 minutes if needed at two and four AM.
Emergency vehicles will be permitted to pass, and if an emergency arises while the bridge is closed, please contact the following cell phone numbers and the bridge will be cleared for Emergency Vehicles:
