Two active cases of COVID-19 remain in Parry Sound, 20 in Nipissing as of Monday

The local health unit reported no new cases of COVID-19 or recoveries in Parry Sound Monday afternoon.

Four more cases and one recovery were reported in Nipissing in addition to the 12 cases and three recoveries added over the weekend.

In the Parry Sound District, two cases remain active, and in Nipissing District, 20 cases are active.

Six of the new cases are individuals 60 to 70-year old, five are 40 to 59-years old, four are 20 to 39 years old and one is 19 or younger.

Of the cases added today, 14 are self-isolating and two are under investigation.

According to the health unit’s latest data, 1,888 COVID-19 tests were done over the weekend.
