Three people facing 22 charges after trying to flee OPP in stolen car

22 charges were laid on three people after they tried to flee provincial police in a stolen car near Brit last week. 

OPP Officers from the West Parry Sound Detachment tried to stop a car driving south on highway 69 Thursday morning, when the driver tried fleeing, officers followed and later found the vehicle on the highway near Pointe Au Baril.

OPP say as a result three people are being charged with two dozen counts ranging from multiple drug possessions to impaired driving and avoiding arrest.

All three, two from Sudbury and one from  Sagamok Anishnawbek First Nation, are scheduled to appear in court on March 4th.
