A couple from Tay Township are facing charges after an incident on Boxing Day. Southern Georgian Bay OPP responded at 11pm on Friday, December 26th to a report of suspicious activity at a summer cottage on Robins Point Road. Officers located and arrested a man and woman inside the vacant cottage and took them to the detachment for questioning. As a result of the investigation, 25-year-old Matthew Philpott is charged with break and enter, theft under $5000 and possession of break-in instruments. 18-year-old Haley Wright-Juneau is charged with break and enter and theft.
