West Parry Sound OPP has charged an individual with impaired driving.
On Sunday, around 1 a.m., members from the detachment were responding to a service call in Seguin Township.
While on-route, police were requested to locate a vehicle that had just left the scene.
Police later located the vehicle on Highway 141 and after speaking with the driver – concluded that alcohol had been consumed.
The driver was arrested and taken to the local detachment for further testing.
As a result of their investigation, a 54-year-old from Seguin Township was charged with multiple counts of operation while impaired
They will be before a judge at the Ontario Court of Justice in Parry Sound on August 6.
The accused was also issued a 90-day licence suspension and had their vehicle impounded for seven days.
